As a current Talent Foundry Starter, you can earn bootcamp hours within the programme period (1-Oct-2025 to 31-Aug-2026) through the following:
Bootcamp activities are powered by tech giants & industry experts in HKSTP’s I&T ecosystem. All are held in face-to-face mode until 31st August 2026. We provide comprehensive talent development through six structured engagement activity components. Each component has specific learning objectives to maximise student exposure and readiness for the I&T workforce.
Entrepreneurship Exposure is designed to develop an entrepreneurial mindset and a foundational understanding of startup dynamics through insightful sharing sessions and talks.
Soft Skills Development features interactive workshops to cultivate important workplace skills such as communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills sought by recruiters and employers.
Technical Insights aims at deepening students’ understanding of I&T sector’s landscape, culture, and future direction.
Hard Skills Upgrade offers half-day or full-day workshop to help students gain practical and applicable experience with industry-standard platforms and tools.
Career Hack & Match (previously known as Challenge Lab) provides a direct-engagement platform featuring small-group and face-to-face interactions with founders or key company representatives. Designed to bridge the gap between theory and practice, it creates a more relaxed environment rather than a formal interview for students to apply their academic knowledge and technical skills to potentially solve real business/technical challenges.
Mentorship helps Talent Foundry Starters’ map out their career paths and aligns their career roadmap with the industry reality.
Networking Opportunities empowers students to build connections with industry professionals and like-minded peers through a diverse array of events.
