Manufacturing Engineer

Responsible to the manufacturing process & production control of carrier class Wi-Fi wireless products, e.g. Access Point (AP), for outdoor and indoor deployments;
Technical lead on manufacturing test. Work closely with OEM to develop, enhance, fix, test and deploy automation capabilities in support of the team’s goals, including version control on Automatic test equipment;
Define, review and follow up with OEM on manufacturing flow, instructions & test procedures, for all NPI and MOL projects;
On-site troubleshoot and support is needed;
Assist quality continuous improvement, by performing data analysis on production data to identity and trace quality issues on manufacturing process, which have to work closely with OEM;
Coordinate with OEM and in-house cross function teammates on change management, provide technical advice on design change ECOs;
Is accountable of end product quality;
Occasional travel required;
Can work independently in a small team on broad range of tasks;
Self-starter, motivated and detail oriented;
Good command of oral and written English and Mandarin.

At least 5 years relevant experience in Electronic manufacturing;
Bachelor Degree or above in Electronic/ Manufacturing/ Industrial Engineering or related disciplin.;
Good knowledge of LEAN Manufacturing, DFMEA, PFMEA, LabView, Molding Processing, SMT, PCB/PCBA manufacturing, QMS and RF Testing will be an advantage
Solid experience in code development (i.e. R, MATLAB and Linux Shell scripting.) preferred;
Solid experience in design and testing of wireless products;
Knowledge of 802.11 family concepts is preferred;
Experience with supporting manufacturing and parts sourcing preferred;
Experience in RF product compliance for FCC / CE preferred;
Occasional travel required;
Can work independently in a small team on broad range of tasks;
Self-starter, motivated and detail oriented; and
Good command of oral and written English and Mandarin.
