Business Development Manager - GBA

Job Responsibilities

  • Strategically develop and implement plans to enhance our presence and technology offerings in the Greater Bay Area;
  • Actively identify and convert potential client engagements into meaningful business opportunities;
  • Foster and maintain robust relationships with both internal stakeholders and external clients;
  • Represent NAMI within industry associations to spearhead innovative research projects, contributing significantly to regional industry growth;
  • Collaborate closely with our R&D teams to broaden our project pipeline and cultivate a network of industry and research partners;
  • Independently conduct market research and analysis to assess the commercial viability of our projects;
  • Lead the commercialization process of our breakthrough technologies;
  • Manage vital business development activities, including documentation, contract negotiations, and participation in key industry events; and
  • Tackle special projects and tasks as directed by your supervisor.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering, Science, Marketing, Business Management, or a related discipline;
  • At least 5 years of experience in sales and business development, with a focus on the Greater Bay Area market;
  • Background in Construction Materials, Battery Technologies, or Sustainable Plastics Technologies is a plus;
  • Self-motivated, capable of independent work and handling interactions with senior management;
  • Excellent communication skills in English and Chinese, including Putonghua. Proficiency in report writing, presentation, and research; and
  • Applicants with more extensive experience may be considered for a Senior Business Development Manager role.
