Job Responsibilities
- Combine scientific knowledge with legal training
- Excellent on-the-job training for professional development, aiming to work towards qualification
- Conduct background studies of academic papers and published patents
- Working collaboratively with inventors to understand their inventions and how best to protect them
- Develop an understanding of and assist in the patent application process from drafting to grant
- Learn about and handle applications for registration of other types of intellectual property, e.g., trademarks, designs
- Other ad-hoc tasks
