Postdoc or RA in Molecular Biology
Job Responsibilities
- Establish a Molecular Biology research laboratory under supervision, be responsible for maintenance and daily operation of the Molecular Biology laboratory, provide expertise in various molecular biology and data analysis techniques.
- Under minimal supervision, develop necessary molecular biology protocols of NGS, single cell RNAseq, DNA methylation analysis, gene-editing, gene therapy and cell therapy.
- Develop a Home-use DNA methylation test kit; Conduct anti-aging research projects in animal models using gene or cell therapies.
- Provide technical support to whole-genome sequencing services.
- Responsible for aging literature review and tracking field technical development.
- Data analysis, processing, reporting and related articles and patents writing.
Job Requirements
- PhD or Master Degree in Molecular Biology, or genetics, or Biotechnology, preferentially with 1-3 years laboratory working experiences in related fields.
- Proficiency in DNA/RNA extraction, PCR, NGS, DNA methylation analysis and RNAseq.
- Work experience in animal models and skeletal muscles.
- Familiar with gene-editing, gene therapy and cell therapy techniques.
- Familiar with immunohistochemistry (IHC), protein 3-D structure analysis, functional domain analysis, protein and peptides purification and immune-analysis.
- Honest, reliable, and diligent; Good teamwork, communication, and learning skills.
