Job Responsibilities
- Oversee the logistical aspects of the incubation program, including program scheduling, resource allocation, and coordination with internal and external stakeholders
- Collaborate with the team to design and implement systems and processes that enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the incubation program; Prepare and manage requests for quotations (RFQ) for relevant services and solutions
- Work with the team to design and set up smart spaces within the HSITP, ensuring that they meet the needs of startups and provide a conducive environment for innovation and collaboration
- Establish and maintain partnerships with incubators, both locally and internationally; Collaborate on program design, coordinate logistics, and negotiate partnership agreements to facilitate knowledge exchange and support for startups
- Develop strategies and implement initiatives to attract high-potential startups to the incubation program; Promote the HSITP's value proposition and incubation services to target entrepreneurs and startups
- Manage the vetting process for potential incubatees, including the development of criteria, coordination of the vetting committee, and conducting due diligence on applicants
- Identify and nominate members for the vetting committee, ensuring diverse expertise and perspectives; Coordinate committee meetings, prepare materials, and facilitate the evaluation and selection process
- Cultivate and strengthen partnerships with universities to foster collaboration between academia and startups. Identify opportunities for joint programs, research projects, and knowledge sharing to support the growth and development of startups
- Continuously assess the effectiveness of the incubation program and ecosystem development initiatives; Collect feedback from stakeholders, analyze data, and make recommendations for improvements and enhancements
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, entrepreneurship, economics, or a related field
- At least 10 years of post-qualification experience in ecosystem development, startup support, entrepreneurship, or related fields; Prior experience in Science Park or startup accelerator is highly desirable
- Demonstrated understanding of the startup ecosystem, entrepreneurship trends, and the challenges faced by early-stage companies
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to cultivate and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders
- Proven ability to lead and inspire a team, as well as collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
- Strong research and analytical skills
- Flexible and adaptable to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
- Excellent command of verbal & written English and Chinese (both Cantonese & Mandarin)
- Candidate with less experience will be considered as Senior Manager
