Job Responsibilities
- To assist on Model Ship Design
- To assist supervisor in formulating Reefer policies and guidelines; direct and facilitate Regions on cargo acceptance policies
- To prepare KPI reports on performance evaluation and analysis; yield assessment for various market segments
- To conduct market research and analysis projects to assist the strategic planning for the trade; provide analytical works to support day-to-day commercial decisions
- To monitor cost and risk exposure
- To evaluate and manage reefer network planning, such as reefer plugs demand, reefer route, etc.
- To prepare marketing/PR promotion and product design
- To handle contingency plans for exception management, such as COD, non-standard service request handling and VMS etc.
- To assist supervisor in improving reefer utilization performance and cost saving by reducing all unnecessary movement of empty reefer containers
Job Requirements
- University graduate in Business or related disciplines
- Minimum 7 years’ relevant work experience; preferably in shipping industry
- Knowledge in statistics sources, such as Dataymne, JOC, CTS, Seabury, etc.
- Good communication, analytical and problem solving skills
- Able to work independently and team-oriented
- Proficiency in spoken and written English and Chinese; Putonghua is a plus
- Proficiency in MS office Application
