Senior Engineer / Engineer - Polymer Synthesis and Processing

Additive and Polymer Development: Engage in the design, synthesis, purification, and modification of additives and polymers tailored for specific applications.
Material Characterization: Conduct comprehensive characterization of material properties, employing techniques such as NMR, FT-IR, DSC, TGA, GPC, and more.
Application Expertise: Apply the developed additives and polymers in formulating and processing recycled plastics and biobased materials to achieve desired functionality and product performance.
Documentation: Prepare detailed project progress reports, meeting presentations, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Intellectual Property (IP) documents, literature reviews, and other pertinent documentation.
Flexibility: Be prepared to undertake additional responsibilities as assigned by the supervisor to support project goals and overall team efforts.

Educational Background: A Master's or Ph.D. in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Polymer Science/Engineering, Material Science/Engineering, or related disciplines.
Research Experience: Proficiency or experience in the following areas will be advantageous:
Polymer synthesis, including radical polymerization/copolymerization;
Plastic recycling processes;
Industrial processing, particularly in textile-related production; or
Development of Quality Assurance (QA) systems.
Analytical Skills: Strong quantitative analytical skills, meticulous record-keeping, and thorough documentation practices.
Independence and Teamwork: Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team-oriented environment.
Analytical Abilities: Exhibit a positive and analytical mindset, with critical thinking skills and the ability to troubleshoot effectively.
Ownership and Communication: Demonstrate a strong sense of ownership for your work, along with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Language Proficiency: Proficiency in spoken and written English and Chinese, with the capacity for articulate report writing and presentations, as well as proficiency in literature and patent searches.
Experience Levels: Candidates with less experience will be considered for Engineer positions.
