Temporary Laboratory Assistant

Job Responsibilities

• Fabricate prototypes for trials and commercialization;
• Collaborate with other research staff on R&D and scale-up work;
• Demonstrate problem-solving skills in the choice of active herbal ingredients, oral and/or topical formulation development;
• Facilitate the daily operations of the team; and
• Perform other duties assigned by supervisor.

Job Requirements

• BSc or MSc in Biochemistry, Microbiology, Chemical Engineering, Food Science, Food Technology, Biology or related disciplines;
• Experience in food and beverage industry is an advantage;
• Good command of English and Chinese, articulate report writing / presentation skills;
• Self-motivated, work independently and able to communicate in teamwork;
• Positive, analytical, critical thinking and good troubleshooting skill; and
• Effective time management and prioritization skills for balancing multiple projects simultaneously.
