Gerontech and Innovation Expo cum Summit (GIES) 2024 - HKSTP Pavilion

Hong Kong grapples with an ageing population, driving the need for broader adoption of high-touch gerontechnology and innovation in elderly care. As the city’s largest I&T ecosystem, we continue to support GeronTech ventures in their development.

At Gerontech and Innovation Expo cum Summit (GIES) 2024, we bring together 35 trailblazing GeronTech partner companies to showcase their cutting-edge solutions and applications designed that elevate caregiving service:

• “We Care” thematic experience zone: Experience how GeronTech addresses the current landscape of caregiving service in three featured daily life settings – supermarket, park, and elderly home. GeronTech ambassadors, comprising physiotherapy students from Tung Wah College and elderly individuals from Lingnan University’s Jockey Club Gerontechnology and Smart Ageing in Place Project, will guide visitors in the experience 
• Showcase of GeronTech solutions: Explore a wide range of solutions across seven critical categories, including health management, rehabilitation training, robotics and automation, cognitive care, fall risk and safety management, assistive technology, and tech-enabled care
• Inspiring sharing sessions: Be inspired by our three sessions connecting tech ventures, the commercial sector, and NGOs. The sessions will explore the effective use of GeronTech and data to enhance rehabilitation services, and share insights of rolling out soft meals in the community
