Job Responsibilities
- To monitor performance and maintenance standards of assigned vessels. To motivate optimum productivity of M&R to be performed by ship crew
- To assist, monitor and control annual budget of assigned vessels
- To monitor activities of ship hands of vessels assigned to ensure the Company policies, guidelines and procedures are implemented effectively
- To monitor and supervise vessel's day to day operations, cargo and navigation related matters
- To assist Nautical Safety to perform internal audit
- To investigate and provide support to insurance claim related matters to hull, machinery and P&I
- To carry out vessel performance analysis, including cost/inventory control of fuel consumptions, lubricants, spare parts, stores, lashing gears, etc
- To complete all fleet vessel's report regularly and assist on various retrofit ad hoc project if required
Job Requirements
- Shipboard engineer or University degree in Marine Engineering or related disciplines
- Min. 3 years' relevant working experience in Marine Engineering and Shipboard Management
- Good analytical and problem solving skills
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Proficient in PC skills and MS Office
- Proficient in spoken and written English and Chinese; good command of Putonghua a plus
