Assistant IT Manager (Cyber Security)

Job Responsibilities

  • Work collaboratively to support a variety of activities to ensure the integrity of JS Global
  • data and systems, security of confidential information, and protection of physical
  • property
  • Study various vendors and technology for network and desktop security; provide the
  • technical knowledge and advise the best practice with company needs
  • Responsible for installation, managing and maintenance on various network security products (appliances and software); troubleshoot network security issues and events for all functional departments
  • Manage and support the log collection, security scanning, intrusion detection, content filtering, and other security-related systems
  • Support on log management, security information and event management (SIEM)
  • Review the solution development and deployment procedures and provide advice for security issues
  • Collaborate with multiple cross-functional IT teams as well as non-IT business units as required
  • Occasional travel may be required
  • Participate in ad hoc assignments when necessary

Job Requirements

  • Degree in Information Technology or a related discipline
  • Minimum 6 years of relevant IT work experience in network and security
  • Holder of CCNA, familiar with switches, routers, firewall setup & maintenance (Cisco,
  • Forinet), Network Security and other networking issue
  • Holder of CISSP/CISA is preferred, with MCSE, MCITP, CCNA certifications is an advantage
  • Experience in security design and analysis; defense in depth analysis; configuring and managing security devices, incident handling & response; troubleshooting security related issues
  • Experience with secure software development, data protection, cryptography, key management, identity and access management (IAM), network security (VPNs) within SaaS, IaaS, PaaS, and other cloud environments
  • Familiar with incident management, case management and investigation practices
  • Knowledge in IT security, performance tuning, capacity planning, storage, and networking
  • Experience with vendor management and coordinating vendor activities
  • Ability to perform technical analysis of complex software, systems, hardware, and network environments
  • Excellent command in English and Mandarin; able to coordinate and develop messages outside the team
  • Candidate with less experience will be considered as Senior Network & Security Analyst
