Digital Backend Engineer

Job Responsibilities

  • Responsible for developing and implementing the flow from logic design to physical implementation, including logic synthesis.
  • Complete overall digital backend design of chips, including timing convergence, power convergence, signal integrity (SI) convergence, antenna (ANT) convergence, reliability design, data integration, physical verification of layouts, and data flow interaction. Check and convert commonly used library files in the backend.
  • Collaborate with the front-end design department to optimize design performance and power.
  • Participate in patent writing.
  • Communicate and collaborate with business partners and research institutions.

Job Requirements

  • Master's degree or above in fields such as electronic engineering, microelectronics, or related disciplines, with at least 3 years of work experience in digital backend. Alternatively, bachelor's degree with at least 5 years of work experience in the same position.
  • Familiar with RTL to GDS flow and methodologies in digital integrated circuit backend design, familiar with TCL or Perl languages.
  • Familiar with mainstream EDA tools used in digital backend, such as Design Compiler (DC), ICC/Encounter, PrimeTime (PT), etc.
  • Proficient in English reading and writing, candidates who can communicate in English for work are preferred.
  • Strong teamwork skills, cooperative mindset, sense of responsibility, and fast learning ability.
