Head of Sales

Job Responsibilities

  • As the Head of Sales, you will be driving the growth and revenue generation for our Malaysia business; successfully running at both strategic and operational levels.
  • Your responsibilities will include identifying opportunities and defining sales strategies for different customer segments and team management.
  • Strategic and tactical planning to achieve our sales objectives
  • Lead the Sales and Sales Development Rep (SDR) Teams to achieve sales targets through consultative/solution selling
  • Build a high-performance sales team through regular coaching and training; shorten the sales cycle by identifying gaps and define ways to improve the sales process and overall team productivity
  • Conduct meetings and drive commercial discussions with customers and other ecosystem stakeholders to implement complex projects
  • Provide accurate sales forecasting and pipeline reports
  • Work closely with the Marketing team to review and analyze our sales funnel to formulate branding, promotions and lead generation activities
  • Build customer loyalty and positive word-of-mouth through working closely with the Customer Success team; ensure a smooth transition from Sales to Onboarding and customer support
  • Develop business opportunities by tracking industry trends and aligning with our solutions
  • Stay on top of the F&B landscape; generate new business opportunities through active business development and networking

Job Requirements

  • A proven track record in building and driving revenue growth; background in F&B tech or SaaS solution is preferred
  • Strong solution/consultative selling and coaching abilities
  • Strong cross-functional team leadership. You lead with passion, authenticity, and integrity
  • To be willing to go the extra mile with a strong work ethic; self-directed and resourceful. You have the ability to work autonomously with technical products
  • Strong negotiation and presentation skills and the ability to speak in Chinese
