Senior Engineer / Engineer – Silicone Elastomers
Job Responsibilities
- Formulation and product development expertise in anti-fog and bacterial-repellent plastics, with applications in agriculture films and silicone elastomers;
- Conduct bacterial testing of elastomer and polymer materials;
- Evaluation of the regulatory compliance and performances of the formulations;
- Coordinating and conducting on-site trials;
- Collaborate seamlessly with fellow research staff on R&D endeavours;
- Facilitate the daily operations of the laboratory, ensuring its smooth functioning; and
- Performing other duties assigned by supervisor.
Job Requirements
- Master or PhD in Biochemistry, Material Science / Engineering, Chemistry, or related disciplines;
- Solid foundation in chemistry, paramedical science, bacterial testing, and regulatory compliance or registration;
- Proven hands-on experience across various forms of R&D work;
- Ability to work independently while also excelling in collaborative teamwork;
- With positive mindset, analytical thinking, excellent troubleshooting skills, and strong sense of ownership for assigned tasks; and
- Good command of English and Chinese, articulate report writing/presentation skills as well as abilities in literature / patent search.
