Senior Hardware Engineer / Hardware Engineer

Job Responsibilities

  • Develop the hardware for the electronic control of the Servo Drive, including
  • testing and documentation;
  • Conceptualizing a Frequency Converter control module and assessing its
  • feasibility;
  • Designing hardware circuit parameters, simulating, and optimizing designs.
  • Generate schematics and PCB layout review;
  • Generating design documentation, including requirement specifications,
  • design specifications, and DFMEA;
  • Analyse and controlling of product costs during the development process.;
  • Attend the daily activities of the Hardware team and complete the tasks
  • assigned by the supervisor;
  • Perform any additional assigned tasks as directed by the Centre Director or
  • their representatives

Job Requirements

  • have a recognized Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Automation, Automatic
  • Control, Electrical, Electronic, Mechanical, Mechatronics, Information
  • System Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Physics or
  • relevant discipline, preferably with a master’s degree in aforementioned
  • disciplines;
  • have at least 3 years of Hardware design work experience, preferably with
  • • practical experience in MCU, ARM and DSP microprocessor product,
  • system and the circuit designs;
  • • experience with Interface Circuit design, such as AI, AO, DI, DO, and
  • communications interfaces design like Ethernet, CAN, USB, SPI;
  • • know-how on Power electronics, Analog electronics, digital electronics,
  • motor theory and motor control, ARM and DSP microprocessor and
  • application;
  • be proficient in software tools such as MS-office, Spice simulation tool, ECAD
  • tool, MATLAB, MATHCAD;
  • be good team player, self-motivated, able to meet project deadline;
  • have a good passion in new technology and innovation, quick learner and
  • have a good command of written and spoken English,
  • Cantonese and Putonghua
