Career Expo@Science Park 2016

(Hong Kong, 16 February 2016) - Hong Kong Science & Technology Parks Corporation (“HKSTP”) will be hosting Career Expo@Science Park 2016 on 5 March (Saturday) at Hong Kong Science Park. The event will be Hong Kong’s largest Innovation and Technology (“I&T”) job fair being packed with 1,000 full-time, part-time and internship openings across R&D, technical, project management, sales and marketing specialisations from 100 employers.

A series of career talks hosted by representatives from leading corporations will be held to bring inspirations to participants on topics including latest technology trends and hiring criteria. Successful entrepreneurs will also speak about the work culture in startups. Ms. Akina Fong, former news anchor, will talk about her experience on career planning and pursuing her dream as well as interview tips. Apart from recruitment agencies, supporting organisations also include industry associations, start-up groups and HR firms. Participants can also join “The Best of Career Expo at Science Park 2016” contest at the event and get a chance to win a Ricoh THETA m15 360 Degree spherical panoramic camera!

The First-ever CEO Shadowing Programme for students to learn from C-level Management

This year’s special highlight will be the newly launched “CEO Shadowing Programme”. Shortlisted university students who passed the required tests will be offered the chance to spend three working days in the summer with successful C-level executives from leading corporations. The programme will not only help participants to build their network, explore the dynamic yet challenging careers in I&T industry, but also to acquire leadership skills and gain useful industry updates that will better-equip themselves and inspire them on career development.
