HKSTP Hosts the First Smart Transportation Challenge to Inspire Innovative Technology Solutions to Address Traffic Congestion
Photo 1: Dr Crystal Fok, Director, AIR Platform and Precision Engineering, HKSTP (third from the right) presented a certificate to AI Gaspar x ARUP for winning the championship in the Open Group and a one-year free subscription of Esri Partner Network – Bronze. AI Gaspar is a subsidiary of HKSTP’s partner company Master Dynamic.
Photo 2: Impulso, which had chalked up a previous win in SciTech Challenge 2020 as the first runner up, took the crown as Student Group Champion in the Smart Transportation Challenge. The team was awarded a one-year subscription of ArcGIS Online.

Photo 4: Partnering organisations of the competition hosted technical clinics and training workshops for the contestants. Participating teams made use of datasets provided to come up with solutions that can improve and forecast the traffic conditions within Science Park.
