(Hong Kong, 28 June 2019) – The Hong Kong-Shenzhen Innovation and Technology Park Limited (“HSITPL”) today announced the departure of the incumbent Chief Executive Officer Mr Chan Chi-ming effective 2 July 2019, and the appointment of Mr Patrick Siu Chik-hung as Chief Executive Officer with effect from the same day.
Mrs Millie Ng Kiang Mei-nei, Chairperson of HSITPL, said Mr Chan performed professionally and was fully committed to his work in leading the company to take forward the development of the Hong Kong-Shenzhen Innovation and Technology Park. The Board of HSITPL thanked Mr Chan for his contributions to the company.
The Board of HSITPL has set up a selection panel to conduct open recruitment for a Chief Executive Officer. Prior to completion of the recruitment exercise, the Board decided to appoint Mr Siu as Chief Executive Officer of HSITPL for six months.
Mr Siu is a civil engineer and has over 30 years of professional experience in managing large scale multi-disciplinary infrastructure projects, estate management and lease management. He was the Chief Operating Officer of the Hong Kong Science and Technology Parks Corporation before taking up the new appointment.
