Manager - Projects Regions & Group Reporting Team
Job Responsibilities
- Evaluate the effectiveness and efficiency of the existing accounting processes and procedures
- Assist in the development of analytic tools & reports to facilitate different FinCon teams to review financial performance and to aid internal control
- Drive and monitor project progress in terms of user requirements collection, UAT and system implementation
- Work with other project teams to automate / streamline the workflow & sub-processes of regional Fincon and accounting service centers with respect to the monthly, quarterly and annual reporting process
- Standardize accounting practices adopted by different regional entities
- Design and implement financial monitoring processes on regional entities, focusing on internal controls for regional FinCon
- Liaise and coach accounting service centers in PRC in performing more effective accounting review on all regional entities, and to conduct more in-depth investigation if necessary
- Produce high quality analysis report and handle ad hoc assignments when required
Job Requirements
- Qualified accountant with bachelor's degree in Accounting or related discipline
- Minimum 8 years work experience in the accounting field with 3 years in Big 4
- Strong in-house experience with MNC or SOE is preferred
- Experience in ERP system projects initiatives and implementation
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills
- Mature, self-motivated, deadline-driven and can work under pressure
- Cross department team-player with strong interpersonal skills
- Proactive, detail oriented and organized with good presentation skills
- Computer literate in Excel/Word/PowerPoint/SAP
- Knowledge in shipping and logistics industry will be a definite advantage
- Proficient spoken and written Chinese and English with good command of Putonghua
- Occasional travel is required
