Job Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the Operations Management Unit (OM Unit) of the Scientific branch
- Serve as the primary contact, manage the day-to-day logistics and operations of HKGP and patient recruitment workflow while collaborating closely with internal and external stakeholders
- Manage the operational progresses of research projects and associated data of the Unit, including pedigree record, project recruitment progress, main phase project management, other research projects, ensuring adherence to the time frame set out in the annual plan and strategic plan
- Supervise logistics and administrative arrangement for committees and major meetings to ensure effective coordination
- Develop and deliver project plans, ideas, proposals and presentations using various applications such as Word and PowerPoint
- Perform any other duties assigned by senior officers
Job Requirements
- A master’s degree or above in medical sciences, biomedical sciences, genetic counselling, genetic sciences, public health, nursing, or related disciplines
- At least 8-10 years of experience as a primary coordinator in clinical and/or research project management (experience in hereditary cancers/ undiagnosed diseases will be an advantage)
- Extensive experience in supporting and coordinating health or medical-related research projects is preferred
- Experience in handling sensitive and confidential issues and subjects is preferred
- Ability to supervise a small team and prioritise multiple tasks to meet strict deadlines with minimal supervision
- Proficiency in presenting software
- Good written Chinese and English and fluency in spoken Cantonese; literacy in reading Chinese is a must; strong written English is an advantage
