Manager - Strategic Planning​

Job Responsibilities

  • To prepare yearly budget, mid-year forecast for trade, to cope with Corporate directions and targets.
  • To lead the SP team to ensure trade to achieve cost efficiency, maintain our market share and provide best options in network on both Eastbound and Westbound trade.
  • To conduct and provide guidance on market research and analysis projects for the trade to support day-to-day commercial decisions. 
  • To conduct ad-hoc analysis or coordinate on Target setting and performance in Management Report.
  • To prepare yield assessment for various market segments and provide suggestions.
  • To monitor cost change and risk exposure in various factors.
  • To implement Model ship, collaborate with concerned parties with annual Target setting, and monitor fulfillment.
  • To review PL and liaise with concerned parties for proper cost allocation and adjustment.

Job Requirements

  • University graduate in Business/Logistics and r​elated disciplines
  • Minimum 8 years’ relevant working experience in Container Liner Shipping Company
  • Good communication, leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Able to work independently and team-oriented
  • Proficiency in spoken and written English and Chinese; Putonghua is a plus
  • Competency in Windows applications
  • Proficiency in MS office application, especially in advanced Excel (like Pivot Table) is a definite asset
  • Sensitive to figures
