Electronic Engineer / Senior Electronic Engineer

Job Responsibilities

  • Responsible to the post-manufacturing and new product development of carrier class Wi-Fi wireless products, e.g. Access Point (AP), for outdoor and indoor deployments;
  • Transfer to production with production follow-up;
  • Manufacturing ATE support.
  • Troubleshoot hardware & manufacturing issues;
  • Execute hardware development and verification plans;
  • Delegates, coaches, modify and verify hardware design all over the product life cycle;
  • Conduct laboratory testing, debugging and validation of modules and PCBA's;
  • Conduct outdoor field testing to verify performance;
  • Conduct data analysis by using data analytics tools;
  • Circuit Design and PCB layout design or review; and
  • BOM generation, board bring-up, diagnoses and validation;

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor or Master degree in Electronic Engineering or equivalent;
  • 5+ years’ experience in OEM / ODM and related industries;
  • Hands-on experience in code development (R, MATLAB) and Linux Shell scripting;
  • Knowledge of 802.11 family concepts and design preferred;
  • Knowledge in networking equipment (Ethernet, TCP/IP etc.) preferred;
  • Solid knowledge of Electronics and Radio Frequency Circuits;
  • Experience in 2 ~ 6 GHz RF TDMA design and implementation;
  • Solid experience in design and testing of wireless products;
  • Experience with supporting manufacturing and parts sourcing;
  • Experience in RF product compliance for FCC / CE;
  • Experience with commercial / carrier class outdoor products preferred;
  • Occasional travel required;
  • Can work independently in a small team on broad range of tasks;
  • Self-starter, motivated and detail oriented;
  • Good command of oral and written English and Mandarin
