Job Responsibilities
- Responsible to the post-manufacturing and new product development of carrier class Wi-Fi wireless products, e.g. Access Point (AP), for outdoor and indoor deployments;
- Transfer to production with production follow-up;
- Manufacturing ATE support.
- Troubleshoot hardware & manufacturing issues;
- Execute hardware development and verification plans;
- Delegates, coaches, modify and verify hardware design all over the product life cycle;
- Conduct laboratory testing, debugging and validation of modules and PCBA's;
- Conduct outdoor field testing to verify performance;
- Conduct data analysis by using data analytics tools;
- Circuit Design and PCB layout design or review; and
- BOM generation, board bring-up, diagnoses and validation;
Job Requirements
- Bachelor or Master degree in Electronic Engineering or equivalent;
- 5+ years’ experience in OEM / ODM and related industries;
- Hands-on experience in code development (R, MATLAB) and Linux Shell scripting;
- Knowledge of 802.11 family concepts and design preferred;
- Knowledge in networking equipment (Ethernet, TCP/IP etc.) preferred;
- Solid knowledge of Electronics and Radio Frequency Circuits;
- Experience in 2 ~ 6 GHz RF TDMA design and implementation;
- Solid experience in design and testing of wireless products;
- Experience with supporting manufacturing and parts sourcing;
- Experience in RF product compliance for FCC / CE;
- Experience with commercial / carrier class outdoor products preferred;
- Occasional travel required;
- Can work independently in a small team on broad range of tasks;
- Self-starter, motivated and detail oriented;
- Good command of oral and written English and Mandarin
