MorphGI Team - Embedded Hardware Engineer (Endoscope)

Job Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the hardware development of medical endoscopes, including participation in project demand analysis and risk assessment.
  • Design the product hardware scheme, complete selection of key devices and detailed circuit design schemes.
  • Develop hardware test plans, analyze test results, and prepare the solutions for technical problems.
  • Monitor testing and trial production, and resolve any issues that arise during the process.
  • Prepare technical documents and patent applications.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Biomedical Engineering, Electronics, Instrumentation, Medical Instruments, or a related field. At least 3 years of experience in endoscope development, and familiarity with mainstream endoscope design solutions.
  • Familiar with various image processing algorithms, including 3A, gamma correction, color correction, distortion correction, white balance, sharpening, and de-fogging.
  • Proficient in CMOS sensor selection and application, and familiar with major Sensor suppliers and their products.
  • Proficient in common image interfaces such as MIPI, DVP, DVI, HDMI and DP, and related conversion circuits.
  • Proficient in FPGA and ARM platform image acquisition and processing system design.
  • Familiar with high-speed PCB design, including a deep understanding of DFM, DFT and DFA, and rich experience in hardware welding and debugging.
  • Familiar with EMC testing and resolution of associated issues.
  • Familiar with product risk analysis methods such as DFMEA and PFMEA (experience with active medical products is preferred).
  • Familiar with 3D mechanical structure design (experience in electronic soft mirror R&D is preferred).
  • Experience in R&D of medical endoscope structure is preferred.
  • Familiar with endoscopes from brands like OLYMPUS, PENTAX, FUJIFILM, STROZ and others is preferred.
