Job Responsibilities
- Work with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate business needs into mathematical models.
- Develop and apply mathematical optimization techniques to design optimal and near-optimal algorithms for a variety of manufacturing problems.
- Implement and test optimization models and algorithms using appropriate software tools.
- Collaborate with engineers and other stakeholders to ensure that optimization models and algorithms are properly integrated into TCL's manufacturing systems.
Job Requirements
- Master's degree or PhD in applied mathematics, operations research, machine learning, computer science, or other applied science.
- Familiarity with various types of operational research optimization models, including linear programming, mixed-integer programming, and nonlinear programming.
- Experience with developing and implementing optimization models and algorithms in a programming language such as C/C++, C#, Java, or Python.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Strong work ethic and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
