Senior Fintech Engineer

Research and develop AI and especially Natural Language Processing (NLP) models for processing various Chinese financial documents, such as sentiment analysis, text classification, named entity recognition, knowledge graph, etc.
Design and implement the big data infrastructure and algorithms for data collection, process, storage, and delivery.
Track and study the top academic empirical studies about finance, accounting, and management, and identify their common demands about textual data and design new data analytics products accordingly.
Design and develop data platforms and dashboards that integrate and present existing text analytics in a user-friendly way, including data visualization, user access control and logs.

Master’s degree or above in computer science OR related discipline.
Strong engineering realization ability, proficient Python, Shell and other programming languages.
3-year+ experience in NLP or other machine learning projects, especially has working experience as project manager.
Familiar with AI and NLP techniques including packages like Scikit-learn/PyTorch, and transformer models like BERT models; ii)
Familiar with big data techniques and infrastructure related to natural language processing.
Knowledge of finance and accounting, especially the application of text mining in relevant studies.
Good command of Chinese.
Preferred Experience (NOT a must):
Experience in financial institutions or related research institutes.
Experience in project management and NLP model development, CI/CD and microservices deployment, including Git, Docker, Flask and Vue.
Experience in big data techniques and infrastructure like Elastic Search, Redis, MySQL/PostgreSQL
