Job Responsibilities
- Responsible and monitor network and system operation lifecycle with components including cloud, security tools, servers, virtual machines, software and hardware
- Support and manage various infrastructure function like Windows, Linux, Wifi, LAN, WAN, Internet, Databases, Routers, Firewalls, Wireless and other networking equipment for APAC offices
- Backup and recovery for critical systems and support on data protection, disaster recovery, and failover procedures
- Manage different servers in physical and cloud with monitoring the operations and patch management
- Responsible for VMware virtual environment set up and daily maintenance
- Maintain, troubleshoot, repair and be a administer to local area networks (LANs), wide
- area networks (WANs), VPN, computer workstations, connections to the Internet and
- peripheral equipment, local and cloud
- Deliver IT support to end-user, addressing and resolving enquires on a timely basis
- Managing and liaising with various vendors for hardware and software to resolve enquiry or implement project
- Occasional travel maybe required
- Support for ad hoc assignments when necessary
Job Requirements
- Degree in Information Technology or a related discipline
- Minimum 6 years of relevant IT work experience in networking, service desk and security
- Holder of CCNA or higher certificates is an advantage
- Knowledge of IPv6, IaC, Automation, DNS is a plus
- Rich experience of Microsoft 365 administration work, Exchange, teams, OneDrive and SharePoint
- In-depth understanding of communication protocols (mainly TCP/ IP) and routing protocols (e.g. BGP, OSPF)
- Rich experience with network diagnostic, monitoring, and analysis tools (e.g. Azure Log Analytics, Netflow, Splunk, etc.)
- Hands-on knowledge and experience in database management, includes physic server and cloud (Azure or Oracle)
- Excellent command in written and spoken English and Mandarin
