Job Responsibilities
- Lead the development of new materials and processing technologies for environmental applications;
- Incubate and develop core technologies, driving projects from proposal to commercialization;
- Collaborate with the business development team to expand networks and build client relationships;
- Provide leadership and mentorship to a high-caliber technical team; and
- Handle ad hoc tasks as assigned by the supervisor.
Job Requirements
- Ph.D. in Polymer Science and Engineering, Inorganic Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or Material Sciences, or an MPhil with significant industrial experience;
- Minimum five years of R&D and supervisory experience in polymer materials (water treatment, air purification, membranes, coating materials);
- Proven experience in the commercialization of R&D projects;
- Strong creative and critical thinking abilities; excellent troubleshooting skills;
- Ability to work independently and lead a research team effectively;
- Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and coordination skills; and
- Proficiency in English and Chinese, with a demonstrated ability to craft articulate reports and deliver compelling presentations. Additionally, skilled in conducting thorough literature review and patent searches.
