Testing Development Engineer

Develop VCSEL and laser illuminator, module, sensor test methodology.
Implementation of new test equipment, probe cards, jigs and fixtures, test concepts, methods, programs and systems integration into production.
Define equipment requirements and specifications used in the manufacture, fabrication and evaluation of VCSEL & illumination devices.
Define and develop test program and optimization to meet product development and/or customers requirement.
Design test matrices and performing failure analysis.
Work with equipment engineers and vendors to specify and procure new life test equipment.
Manage the equipment acceptance and ongoing trouble shooting and maintenance.
Process, analyze and report the reliability test data in a timely way to meet customer requirements.

Familiarity with semiconductor device, physics and laser diodes required, VCSEL a plus.
Familiarity with a wide range of test equipment for example reliability stress systems, multimeters, oscilloscopes, optical spectrum analyzers, optical power meters and thermopiles, optics and digital cameras, computer-controlled motors and stages.
Proficiency with data analysis software: Python, Excel, Mintab and/or JMP.
Ability to develop simple optical test bench, starting from the test specifications
Master or PhD in electrical, optical, computer engineering or related field.
