Job Description

As a Software Developer Intern, you will collaborate with our development team to build, improve, and optimize our web applications. You will primarily work with modern tools and frameworks such as React, TypeScript, and Next.js. This internship offers you hands-on experience with the full software development lifecycle in a fast-paced, creative industry environment.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in developing and maintaining features for CineArtLink.com using React, Next.js, and TypeScript.
• Write clean, efficient, and reusable code under the guidance of senior developers.
• Collaborate with the design and product teams to implement responsive and user-friendly web interfaces especially in Chinese Language.

Preferred Skills and Knowledge

• Solid understanding of React.js and experience building React-based projects (personal or academic).
• Familiarity with TypeScript and Next.js frameworks.
• Understanding of basic web technologies like HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Knowledge of version control tools such as Git.
• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and eagerness to learn.
• Ability to work in a collaborative team environment.

Nice-to-Have:

• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and integrating frontend with backend systems.
• Knowledge of UI/UX design principles and responsive design.
• Understanding of basic software development methodologies (Agile/Scrum).
• Good in written Cantonese & Mandarin for translating the web-app.
