Westwell Technology (Hong Kong) Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Westwell Technology (HK)") is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Westwell Holdings (Hong Kong) Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Westwell Holdings").
Since its establishment in 2020, Westwell Holdings has leveraged Hong Kong to radiate to global markets, relying on advanced intelligent capabilities to provide digitalised solutions and decarbonised solutions for a wider range of customers in the global logistics industry. In February 2024, Westwell Holdings established its international headquarters and overseas R&D centre in Hong Kong. In March 2024, Westwell Holdings became one of the first key enterprises recruited by HK OASES (Office for Attracting Strategic Enterprises). In April 2024, Westwell Holdings signed a MOU to deploy the electric-powered autonomous driving tractor with Hong Kong Air Cargo Terminals Limited (HACTL). In addition, Westwell Holdings also actively promotes IUR (Industry-University-Research) cooperation with Hong Kong local universities. Also, in April 2024, Westwell Holdings reached a cooperation agreement with Hong Kong PolyU on research in AI and autonomous driving, and cooperatively set up an innovation laboratory.
In June 2024, Westwell Technology (HK) officially settled in the Hong Kong Science Park in Shatin District, New Territories, marking the official landing of Westwell International Overseas R&D Centre. Since then, Westwell Technology (HK) has actively recruited and absorbed outstanding talents from around the world, committed to creating employment opportunities for Hong Kong's intelligent technology industry. In terms of technological innovation, Westwell Technology (HK) focuses on building New-energy Intelligent Robotics IP matrix for container logistics scenarios. In July 2024, the intelligent logistics robot "Well-Bot" developed by Westwell Technology (HK) made its global debut at the World Artificial Intelligence Conference (WAIC).
