In recent years, our company has established a technology research team to conduct comprehensive aquaculture research, develop aquaculture manuals, and successfully commercialise our smart sponge technology. Our goal is to provide the public with safe and sustainable seafood. As one of the pioneering research teams in Hong Kong and the Greater Bay Area, we focused on studying crayfish farming and collecting relevant data, which we successfully applied to the technology industry. We achieve this through the establishment of indoor recirculating water systems and outdoor multi-tiered farming processes, supported by an extensive array of sensors. Our smart sponge technology was honoured with the Silver Award at the 2022 International Exhibition of Inventions in Geneva.

Additionally, we provide aquaculture programs in STEM education for schools.

Description

Aquatech is the pioneering team to gather aquaculture data on crayfish and systematically implement them in fish farms in Hong Kong and Shenzhen. We provide an indoor RAS (Recirculating Aquaculture System) that is suitable for high-density farming. This system enables outdoor fish farms to enhance their crayfish yield rate and survival rate by incorporating different layers, along with sensors and CityU IP – smart sponge technology. This technology was honoured with the Silver Award at the 2022 International Exhibition of Inventions in Geneva.
