Happy Hong Kong Bazaar @ Science Park was a 10-day carnival fusing tech and fun, bringing smiles and laughter to 146,000+ people of all ages during 4-13 August 2023!

We united the HKSTP community with the Hong Kong SAR Government and over 110 supporting parties to create an atmosphere of joy and togetherness.

I&T Bazaar

Bringing together tech-driven fun and entertainment, the I&T Bazaar was an exciting part of the carnival. Over 180 "Innofactured in Hong Kong" products from park companies were on display, including eco-friendly cleaning products and plant-based desserts, to name a few. Visitors could experience the innovative future of shopping with HKSTP Pay, utilizing palm vein technology for secure authentication and swift payments.

Joy-Filled Experiences for All

The carnival was also home to the "LOL Booster", an AI-generated "I&T anthem" that turned the laughter of visitors into music for the first time in the city. Alongside, the AR-enabled "Smile Spots" captured joyous faces in a unique digital experience. We collected smiles and laughter of all ages, capturing the essence of happiness itself! Who could forget the taste of "Happy Hong Kong Meals"? Foodies enjoyed the meals featuring I&T-infused cuisines by park restaurants and food tech ventures, and redeemed special edition Calbee Potato Chips or Yakult with their original receipts, adding a delicious twist to their experience.
