New Art Tech Collection at HKSTP Experience Centre to Shape a Sustainable Future
(Hong Kong, 3 June 2024) – Hong Kong Science and Technology Parks Corporation (HKSTP) proudly presents the newly revamped HKSTP Experience Centre (EC) at Hong Kong Science Park. Marking its third anniversary, the EC gathered six renowned international and local artists for an elevated exhibition that celebrates the harmonious confluence of technology, sustainability and startup dynamism.
Co-created with incubatees Reunite and Things That Move, HKSTP is showcasing an exclusive art tech series crafted under the theme "House Warming", taking visitors on a thought-provoking journey through sustainability and technology. It encompasses mesmerising art pieces inspired by migratory birds, including the world premiere of “Refuges”, a drone video display on curved wall by international acclaimed artist Francois Quevillon.
The EC with enhanced interactive experiences with over 300 tech components across 10 zones vividly illustrates technological advancements propelled by HKSTP and its park companies, while underscoring the importance of a balance between I&T growth and environmental stewardship. Stepping up to lead the sector in addressing climate issues, HKSTP is poised to drive green innovations and achieve the Net-Zero Standard of Science Based Targets initiative by 2045.
Since its inauguration in May 2021, the EC has attracted over 24,000 visitors, establishing itself as a pivotal platform for engagement with I&T. Through the revamped centre, HKSTP is set to inspire green actions among its visitors for a sustainable future.
EC offers guided tours through advance booking. In support of the upcoming World Environment Day, the centre will be open to the public on 5 June. Register now: stp.hk/3R3bK58
