Job Responsibilities

  • Conduct research projects with a multidisciplinary team of clinicians and scientists.
  • New Stem Cell Technology:
  • - New technology relevant to stem cells with totipotency features
  • - Molecular determinants in direct differentiation of expanded potential stem cells (ESPCs) to functional cells
  • - Genome editing of EPSCs and new genome editing techniques and applications in ES cells
  • - Protein engineering and direct molecular evolution
  • EPSCs for Regenerative Medicine & Human Disease Study:
  • - Application of stem cell-derived cells for disease modeling/drug screening
  • - Cell products
  • - EPSCs as platform for the generation of genome-edited animals
  • EPSCs for Genomic Medicine of Immune Disease:
  • - Stem cells for studying immunological disorders
  • - Drug candidates for immunological disorders

Job Requirements

  • Ph.D. degree in Biomedical Sciences, Biological Sciences, or a related discipline for the position of Postdoctoral Researchers, and at least Bachelor degree in the abovementioned disciplines for the position of Research Associates/Assistants
  • Research experiences in at least one of the areas including stem cells, regenerative medicine, cancer, heart disease, liver disease, animal models, immunology, embryology, genomics, genome-editing, and drug screening are desirable
  • Demonstrated track record of wet laboratory experience
  • Self-motivated, innovative, and able to work well in an interdisciplinary team
