Job Responsibilities
- Conduct research projects with a multidisciplinary team of clinicians and scientists.
- New Stem Cell Technology:
- - New technology relevant to stem cells with totipotency features
- - Molecular determinants in direct differentiation of expanded potential stem cells (ESPCs) to functional cells
- - Genome editing of EPSCs and new genome editing techniques and applications in ES cells
- - Protein engineering and direct molecular evolution
- EPSCs for Regenerative Medicine & Human Disease Study:
- - Application of stem cell-derived cells for disease modeling/drug screening
- - Cell products
- - EPSCs as platform for the generation of genome-edited animals
- EPSCs for Genomic Medicine of Immune Disease:
- - Stem cells for studying immunological disorders
- - Drug candidates for immunological disorders
Job Requirements
- Ph.D. degree in Biomedical Sciences, Biological Sciences, or a related discipline for the position of Postdoctoral Researchers, and at least Bachelor degree in the abovementioned disciplines for the position of Research Associates/Assistants
- Research experiences in at least one of the areas including stem cells, regenerative medicine, cancer, heart disease, liver disease, animal models, immunology, embryology, genomics, genome-editing, and drug screening are desirable
- Demonstrated track record of wet laboratory experience
- Self-motivated, innovative, and able to work well in an interdisciplinary team
