Digital Human Technology and Generative AI Pioneer Pantheon Lab Celebrates its Fifth Anniversary

(Hong Kong, 19 August 2024) – Pantheon Lab, a pioneer in digital human technology and Generative AI, proudly celebrated its fifth anniversary recently. Since its inception in 2019, the company has been at the forefront of the Generative AI landscape, revolutionising industries with groundbreaking technologies and setting new standards in the tech landscape. At the same time, Pantheon Lab also signed four pieces of Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with strategic partners from Hong Kong, Macau, Japan, and Malaysia on the collaboration to integrate the business of each party into Generative AI and digital human solution.
Over the past five years, Pantheon Lab has evolved from a digital human SaaS provider to a comprehensive digital human ecosystem architect. This evolution has included the development of pioneering projects such as "Iris," a news anchor for NCS Singapore; "N0el," Huawei Hong Kong's first virtual brand ambassador; "Tracy," MTR Corp's AI Ambassador; "Kala," KFC Taiwan's AI Intern; "Peggie," SingPost's GenAI Service Assistant, and “AIVA”, SBS Transit’s AI Virtual Assistant. These innovations have made a substantial impact across regions and various sectors, from public transport to fast food retail, showcasing Pantheon Lab's role in driving transformative change.
The fifth anniversary is not only a celebration of its past successes but also a powerful affirmation of Pantheon Lab’s unwavering commitment to groundbreaking innovation. The Hong Kong Science and Technology Parks Corporation (HKSTP) has played a pivotal role in Pantheon Lab's growth journey. Pantheon Lab was a graduate of HKSTP’s incubation programme that received comprehensive support from infrastructure, business opportunities in both local and overseas markets, network and funding, fostering rapid growth of the company. It was during the ICT Expo in 2022 that Pantheon Lab debuted world's first digital human-powered language model chatbot, and gained significant traction and customer attention.

The collaborations span diverse sectors, including finance, the shared economy, tourism and theme parks, as well as general business solutions.

Being selected for innovative startup accelerator programmes like Nvidia's Inception, 500 Global’s Aichi Launchpad, HKAI Lab, Mizuho Crowd Brain, Itochu’s ITOCUBATE, and Station AI. The company is also developing solutions, including AI virtual teller with Inforich Asia, virtual medical professional and caretakers to enhance healthcare and elderly care, personalised AI tour guides to enrich museum and attraction experiences, and AI-powered retail interactions. Pantheon Lab has also initiated proof-of-concept projects with both Hong Kong and Singapore government departments, aiming to build a digital human ecosystem for smart city development.
