Job Responsibilities
- Take part in the development and administrations of corporate policies and procedures, to ensure operational safety of our business.
- Continuous process improvement; use the right metrics to measure standards quality and opportunities.
- Be the gatekeeper to handle the cases coming into the safety incident tracking system across all markets, provide advice where appropriate and lead the investigation effort when needed
- Be the expert in the tracking system, which include setting up appropriate system guidelines and continuous system development
- Support ad-hoc safety and security initiatives, e.g. office safety and fire-drill management
- Coordinating with other functions and cities, and external agencies, to ensure our safety goals as a company are met
Job Requirements
- A degree from a university in Safety Engineering / Statistics / Criminology
- Proven experience in Safety and Operations Risk capacity is preferred
- Good understanding of Safety and Security laws and regulations as well as industry best practices
- Strong interpersonal and diplomacy skills and leadership ability to advocate for behavioural change, ability to gain acceptance of ideas and plan systems, policies and procedures
- You are ready, willing and able to work in a fast growing, constantly evolving scaleup.
- You are comfortable operating fast and efficiently with minimal instructions.
- Be flexible, grow, and learn quickly in a startup environment
- Good team player, self-motivated and able to work independently
- Must demonstrate a keen willingness to learn and have a positive mindset
