AI Scientist - Drug Development
Job Responsibilities
- As an AI Scientist in our drug development team, you will play a crucial role in implementing and advancing AI-driven approaches to accelerate drug discovery and development. The ideal candidate will have a robust understanding of AI, machine learning, and computational methodologies, with a keen interest in applying these skills to solve complex problems in the pharmaceutical industry.
- AI-Driven Drug Discovery: Develop and implement AI and machine learning algorithms to identify novel drug candidates and targets.
- Data Analysis and Modeling: Analyze large datasets, including genomic, proteomic, and pharmacological data, using advanced computational techniques.
- Collaborative Research: Work closely with biological and pharmaceutical scientists to integrate AI into drug discovery and development processes.
- Algorithm Development: Design and refine algorithms to improve the efficiency and accuracy of drug screening and prediction models.
- Innovation and Strategy: Stay abreast of the latest developments in AI and computational science and contribute to the strategic planning of AI applications in drug development.
Job Requirements
- Ph.D. in Computer Science, with a strong emphasis on Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or a related field.
- Proven experience in developing and applying AI and machine learning algorithms.
- Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, R, or Java.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
- Experience in bioinformatics, computational biology, or a related field is a plus.
