Research Assistant

Job Responsibilities

• Conduct experiments developing novel knitted, woven, printed and embroidered textiles incorporating components.
• Assist on conducting basic literature research.
• Assist in design presentations in various print and video formats.
• Assist in the development of smart wearables and interior products.
• Assist in making textile-based prototypes.
• To work at the main university campus and at the Hong Kong Science Park.
• They would be required to have a strong interest in research, material and technology experimentation, good organizational skills and possess the ability to work well as a team member and independently.

Job Requirements

• have a undergraduate degree in Fashion Design or textile technology.
• Have experience with smart textiles.
• Good knowledge and experience of knit, weave, print and embroidery techniques
• have a good command of English and Chinese.
