Research Technician/Associate Scientist/Research Scientist
Job Responsibilities
- Assist in and conduct research for the development, lab-scale production, characterisation and evaluation of protein- and DNA-based drug candidates in preclinical setting
- Assist in/Perform bioinformatics analysis to identify potential targets and to design new drug candidates
- Perform cell culture, purification of protein-/DNA-based drug candidates, immunoassays, and other molecular biology assays
- Documentation, data analysis and data presentation
- Assist in daily laboratory operation and other duties assigned
Job Requirements
- BSc, MSc or PhD degree holder in or above in biological engineering, biotechnology, medical sciences, bioinformatics or other life science fields
- Fresh graduates are welcome; Experience in cell culturing and purification of proteins and plasmids would be preferred
- Applicants with experience in bioinformatics analysis would have an advantage
- Applicants with higher qualifications and/or with 3+ years relevant work experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, or other related research settings may be considered as Research Scientist
- Able to demonstrate proficient laboratory skills and techniques
- Proactive work attitude and detail-oriented
- Good communication and presentation skills
- Good command of English and Chinese (proficiency in Putonghua is an advantage)
