Software Engineer

Job Responsibilities

• Collect, build and maintain databases from various sources;
• Design and implement new features for our current pipelines;
• Design and build small scale tools to improve our current system in performance and user experience;
• Maintain and improve the code for our current projects (mostly Python);
• Write automation scripts in Python.

Job Requirements

• Must have excellent coding skills;
• Must have solid background in Python;
• Must have experience with Pandas and NumPy libraries;
• Experience with bash/ Linux is plus;
• Experience with MERN stack (MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, Node.js) is plus;
• Experience with Git/GitHub is plus;
• Experience with genomic data formats (such as fasta) is plus;
• Knowledge of AWS is a plus;
• Ability to work independently and make informed decisions;
• Should have excellent communication skills;
• Must be fluent in English.
