Job Responsibilities
- Develop core technologies achieving net zero for the long term growth;
- Responsible for project incubations, project proposals, project implementation, and reports/presentations;
- Responsible for commercializing developed technologies to actual products;
- Build clients' accounts and expand collaboration network;
- Lead and develop team of high caliper technical staff;
- Responsible for ad hoc tasks assigned by Director of R&D; and
- Any other duties as required.
Job Requirements
- MPhil and/or PhD in Polymer Science and Engineering, Inorganic Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or Material Sciences is required;
- At least 5 years R&D and supervisory experience in net zero related projects, such as sustainable materials, CO2 conversion/absorption technologies, and advanced manufacturing process optimization, preferably in industry;
- Hands on experience in commercialization of R&D results;
- Creative & critical thinking and good troubleshooting skills;
- Ability to initiate and work independently, yet a good leadership to lead a team of research staff;
- Must have a sense of ownership for his/her work;
- Good interpersonal, negotiation, and coordination skills; and
- Good command of English and Chinese, articulate report writing/presentation skills as well as abilities in literature/patent search.
