Electronics Engineer

HYAB Youth Start-up Internship Programme (YSIP) 2025

Company Introduction

BioLabIda (pronounced as /baɪɒlə‘bi:də/), is a Hong Kong-based technology startup forging the future of biological scientific discovery. We engineer next-generation equipment that addresses critical research challenges. For example, we are developing a real-time bacterial or animal cell culture growth monitor, which would, in contrast to existing methods, seamlessly report current culture conditions to scientists. We are also conceiving a novel spatial transcriptomics system that provides a solution for actual 3D spatial interpretation of tumor microenvironment, tissue organization, cell-cell interactions, etc. However, we are not just making equipment; we are creating a complete laboratory ecosystem designed to supercharge biomedical research. Envision a world where breakthroughs happen faster, research yields greater results, and the global scientific community thrives on cutting-edge innovation – that’s the future we’re building.
