ICC aims to revolutionize conventional construction planning and management practices using cutting-edge optimization and AI technologies. The scope of service covers the entire life cycle of construction projects, from design to operation stages. Key solutions include, but not limited to: 1) Metamodelling and AI for MiC logistics planning; 2) Gen-AI-empowered construction site layout design; 3) Crane automation and path planning optimization; 4) VR-based immersive training for crane operators; 5) Autonomous concrete quality inspection robot; 6) Customized AI agents to streamline construction decision makings.

Optional working areas:

• Development of the Gen-AI-empowered construction site layout platform;
• Modelling and optimization of MiC logistics supply chain;
• Establishment of AI agent-based solution to streamline construction decision making.

Work Mode

Full-time, Mix-mode (remain consistent within a calendar month)

Preferred Academic Disciplines

Engineering, Technology

Preferred Skills and Knowledge

Academic background:
Major in computer science, artificial intelligence, civil engineering, construction management or related fields.

Have at least one of the following skills:
1) Proficient in at least one programming language (such as Python), familiar with machine learning or deep learning frameworks (e.g., PyTorch);
2) Master some Operation Research models (e.g., Linear Programming) and solving techniques (e.g., CPLEX, Gurobi);
3) Own experience in software development, LLM, or AI agent solutions.
