Detect Medical Technology Limited was founded in 2021 by Dr Richard Du and Dr Efstratios Tsougenis with the aim to advance AI medical imaging adoption in hospitals and clinics in Hong Kong. From 2022-2024, Detect Medical Technology is supported by the Technology Start up Support Scheme for Universities (TSSSU), and supported by HKU TEC.
Description
Detect Medical Technology is dedicated to promoting health and prevention. Our mission is to leverage AI and routine medical imaging solutions to empower individuals to conduct more health checks. We are developing an automated chest X-ray prognostic tool designed for primary health settings. With just a chest X-ray, we can evaluate chronic diseases and cardiovascular risk without the need for blood tests. This approach simplifies and shortens the health check-up process, making it more convenient for everyone. In addition to our product, we offer bespoke AI medical imaging solution development services for hospitals and clinics, with several of our AI solutions deployed and used by millions of people every month in Hong Kong public hospitals.
